Step-by-Step Guide to Composing Emails with AI

With Addy AI, you can use AI to compose professional, customized emails quickly.


1. Access the Compose Feature

  • Go to the Inbox page or the People page in the Addy AI platform.
  • Click the Compose button on either page. Both buttons perform the same function.

2. Fill in the Email Details

  1. Recipient:

    • Enter the email address of the recipient (e.g., yourname@example.com).
  2. Subject:

    • Add a subject line for the email (e.g., "Annual Mortgage Review").
  3. Prompt the AI:

    • In the prompt box, write a clear request for the AI.
    • Example: "Write an email to Michael requesting an annual mortgage review."

3. Adjust Optional Settings (If Needed)

You can customize how the AI composes the email using these settings:

  • Assistant: Choose which assistant to use (e.g., "Fannie Mae Assistant").
  • Tone: Select the tone of the email (e.g., Informal, Formal, Friendly).
  • Language: Specify the language for the email.
  • Length: Set the desired word count.

4. Generate the Email

  • Click Generate, and the AI will create the email in less than a second.
  • Review the generated email to ensure it meets your requirements.

5. Send or Edit the Email

  • Once satisfied, you can send the email directly or make further edits before sending.
