Step-by-Step Guide to Replying to Emails with AI​

Addy AI offers three ways to reply to your emails quickly and efficiently.

1. Use Suggested Replies​

  1. Open an Email:

    • Select the email you’d like to reply to (e.g., a loan scenario).

  2. Choose a Suggested Reply:

    • Scroll to the bottom of the email to see suggested reply options.
    • These options are generated based on your previous responses and training data.

  3. Select a Reply:

    • Example: Choose a reply like, "Thank you, I will review this and get back to you."
    • The AI instantly generates a response based on the selected option.

2. Write a Custom Prompt​

  1. Write Your Own Prompt:

    • If none of the suggested replies fit your needs, type a custom prompt.
    • Example: "Politely decline this loan scenario."

  2. Generate the Reply:

    • Click Generate, and the AI will instantly create a response based on your prompt.

  3. Save Custom Reply Actions (Optional):

    • If you frequently use specific reply styles, save them as a custom reply action for future use.

3. Set Up Background Responses​

  1. Enable Background Responses:

    • Go to the Assistants page and select the assistant you want to use for automated replies.

  2. Turn On Background Responses:

    • In the assistant’s settings, toggle Background Responses to On.

  3. Save the Assistant:

    • Click Save to apply the changes.

  4. How It Works:

    • The AI will monitor your inbox and draft replies for emails automatically.
    • These replies will be saved as drafts for your review and approval.

  • Saves time by responding to emails overnight or while you’re away.
  • All replies are stored in drafts, allowing you to review and send them when ready.
