Install the chrome extension

Addy AI's Chrome Extension allows you to use your AI assistants on any webpage. Follow these steps to download and install it.

Step 1: Open Chrome Browser​

  • Ensure you are using Google Chrome to proceed.

Step 2: Download the Chrome Extension​

Step 3: Install the Extension​

  1. Click Add to Chrome.
  2. In the confirmation dialog, click Add Extension.

Step 4: Create an Account or Log In​

  1. Follow the instructions to create an Addy AI account or log in to an existing account.
    • Important: You’re logging into your Addy AI account, not your Gmail or Outlook account.
  2. Enter your email address.
    • If you don’t have an account, we’ll guide you through creating one.

Step 5: Complete the Onboarding Process​

  1. Click Next on the welcome screen.
  2. Set your default language and tone preferences.

  1. Watch the short tutorial to maximize your use of Addy.
  2. Finish onboarding:
    • You may see a special offer to upgrade to a premium plan.
    • Choose to accept the offer or start your free trial.

Step 6: Take the Product Tour​

  1. Open your email client (Gmail or Outlook).
  2. Click Open in Addy AI, Open in Gmail or Open in Outlook.
  3. Follow the step-by-step guide to write your first AI-generated email.

Step 7 (Optional): Customize Your Addy AI Settings​

  • Addy AI offers many customizable features.
  • Adjust settings in the extension options to suit your needs.

Step 8 (Optional): Train Addy AI​

  • Training Addy is available in our paid plans.
  • Use this feature to upload content like websites or PDFs, allowing Addy to learn about your company and generate personalized content.
