Step-by-Step Guide to Using Your AI Assistant​

Here are different ways you can use your AI assistant effectively:

1. Chat with Your Assistant​

  • Go to your assistant and click Chat with Assistant.
  • This opens the Research Page, where you can ask your assistant questions.

Example:​

  • Ask: "What is LTV in mortgage lending?"
  • The assistant will respond with an answer and provide sources, including:
    • The page where the information was retrieved.
    • Snippets from those pages.
    • Additional related pages.

2. Ask Complex Questions​

  • Use assistants trained with specific knowledge, such as the Fannie Mae Lending AI assistant.
  • Ask detailed questions like: "What is the maximum LTV ratio allowed for a First Mortgage?"
  • The assistant provides accurate responses with sourced information.

3. Use the Assistant on Any Web Page​

You can use the assistant outside the Addy AI platform by installing the Addy AI Chrome Extension.

Steps to Install:​

  1. Visit the Chrome Extension page.
  2. Download and install the extension.
  3. Sign in with your Addy AI account.

Features with the Extension:​

  • Quick Access: On any webpage, click the drawer icon in the bottom-right corner to open your assistant.
  • Ask Questions: Use the assistant to provide answers directly related to the page.

4. Highlight Text and Ask Questions​

Your assistant can analyze and respond to specific text you highlight on any webpage.

Steps:​

  1. Highlight Text:
    • On Mac: Hold the Command key.
    • On Windows: Hold the Control key.
  2. An Ask Addy widget will appear.
  3. Click the widget and type your question.
  4. Example: Highlight an application summary and ask: "Write a short email to our investors about this."
    • The assistant will generate a concise email based on the selected text.

  • Chatbot: Interact directly and ask questions.
  • Web Integration: Use the assistant on other webpages via the Chrome extension.
  • Highlight & Query: Get context-specific answers or outputs, like drafting emails.
